Meet Detective Kate Jameson, the daughter of city councillor Rita Gallo and the late AJ, a much-decorated officer who was killed in the line of duty two years previous.

With the fight for justice deeply rooted in her, Jameson’s only desire is to be a good cop like her father. She’s determined to make her mark in homicide. But things go horribly awry when Jameson breaks the number one rule of policing – never leave your gun unattended – and gets her partner killed. Haunted by her fatal mistake, a driven Jameson will seek to make amends through every case.
