Married Australian police detectives Vinny and Cole are taking early retirement – they’re finally leaving their cop careers behind and have just invested in their dream – a cute little 13 room motel in Mōwai Bay, a sunny beachside New Zealand town…
But, only one week into their new life, that dream has taken an unexpected, annoying turn… because… There’s a dead body in Unit 3. Now Vinny and Cole find themselves helping local constable Jamie, too fresh and by-the-book to get anything really solved himself, on this case, and on a new murder each week.
Why we like it:
A sunny, feel-good cozy crime series combining golden beaches, surf and blue skies with entertaining, well-crafted puzzles, driven by a very endearing married couple of not-so-former detectives.
